Locations – Pentyrch, Coed y Bedw

Distance – 6.75 miles

Elevation – 750 feet

View up the Taff Valley with a cloudy sky.

We’re having some more hot days here in Wales so I slapped on some sun cream and headed out for a few post-work miles to clear my head.

You get this great view up the valley as you come down from the quarry. There’s a massive tree blocking the path that I can’t believe hasn’t been cleared yet.

I took a detour through Coed y Bedw, which is still really muddy, and enjoyed the view of the Garth under a beautiful blue sky before heading into the woods. I’ll share some photos on Instagram as it was really special.
