After a few weeks of wearing my new Salomon Thundercross trail shoes around the house, I took them out for their first run today.

Immediate impressions were good. They felt light, responsive and comfortable.

After a few miles, I was still impressed with how they felt. They don’t feel overly cushioned and the grip is impressive. The ankle collar feels secure and I couldn’t feel any rubbing.

It was a lovely day to enjoy the Garth. The views down the valley and towards Cardiff were great as always.
