Locations – Gwaelod-y-garth, Fforest Fawr
Distance – 7 miles
Elevation – 606 feet

I wasn’t feeling very motivated today with the weather looking particularly grey and bleak but I dragged myself out.
I don’t do many road runs these days but I will incorporate longer flat sections in my trail runs to get some faster miles in.
I felt pretty good after warming up and getting going so I headed through Morganstown and Gwaelod-y-garth on the tarmac then crossed over to Fforest Fawr to finish with some hills.
The Torrent 3s are still performing well and handled the muddy, slick sections with ease.
I stopped under one of the bridges on the Taff Trail to grab today’s photo while sheltering from the rain.
