Plans for a 7am run were abandoned again when the temptation of coffee and toast won out.
I came back with a selection of photos featuring a dull grey sky so I chose this one from the viewing platform over the quarry.
I don’t particularly enjoy the route down from the quarry but the view of the valley is really nice. There’s still a huge tree blocking the path but it’s passable.
I’ve done a few longer runs now and they’re feeling easier. I pushed again in the last two miles and my legs felt strong.
