Locations – Glamorganshire Canal, Forest Farm

Distance – 6 miles

Elevation – 130 feet

An old canal next to a footpath with a duck flying off a wall

I’m struggling to bed in the new Peregrine 14s so I thought I’d do some flat miles to see how they felt.

The Glamorganshire Canal is great for flat trails so I headed down towards Radyr where you can cross the river and come back up to the train station. This little winding segment is great fun to attack at speed.

I finished off by doing a loop in Forest Farm.

The heels were rubbing on the hills as they’re really stiff but they felt better on the flat. Hopefully they’ll soften over time.
