Locations – The Garth, Craig yr Allt

Distance – 10.5 miles

Elevation – 1893 feet

View of the Taff valley with a train passing

This isn’t the best photo but I happened to get another shot of a train, which I’ve been doing a lot lately.

After my last 10 mile run, which was mainly flat tarmac, I wanted to get some elevation in so I managed both hills today.

It was a fair amount of power walking but on such a beautiful day it was nice to slow down and enjoy the views. I stopped and had a chat with a lovely lady on Craig yr Allt. She was hard of hearing so I gave her a bit of a jump as I started to pass.
