I went out for a short lunchtime run to see if the bluebells were still out. Greenmeadow Wood looked amazing. I stopped to take a few photos then headed back to Castell Coch to check out the scaffolding.

Another shorter run as I spent ages taking photos in Greenmeadow Wood. The bluebells are coming out so I was trying to get some nice photos. I didn’t get one so here’s the castle instead.

Greenmeadow Wood and Fforest Ganol today. I ran up to the entrance of Fforest Fawr, it’s completely blocked off as the car park’s closed. Fforest Ganol is open so I included it in my loop. It’s really muddy from the weeks of rain we’ve had.

The bluebells are out so I chose a nice little route through Greenmeadow Woods and then over to Fforest Ganol. I’m still having problems with the Peregrine 13s causing me pain on the top of my foot. I decided to keep stopping to adjust them today and managed to find a tying method that worked.…

Another sunny solo run today before the weather turns again! It’s half-term so Castell Coch and Fforest Fawr were very busy with people enjoying the blue skies and time off school. Craig yr Allt was quiet though, with just one dog walker I passed on the way down.
