I enjoyed a steady run down the Taff Trail and along the Glamorganshire Canal today.
This is the Melingriffith Water Pump in Whitchurch. It was built in 1793 to return water from the Melingriffith Tin Plate Works to the Glamorganshire Canal.
The pump was first restored between 1974-89 and then further restoration was carried out in 2009-11.
I wore my new VÅGA running hat today. Look out for a review soon.
