I enjoyed a nice gentle run down the Taff Trail today. I’ve started taking pictures of trains on my runs so I hung around the weir for ages to get this shot.

Fforest Fawr is open again so I checked out the trails. The ground has been churned up quite a bit. The forest was very moody and misty.

It was grey out today so I headed down the canal for some gentle miles by the water. There’s a new bridge at the top by Longwood Drive.

It was great to get back up on the hills after such a long break. It was a bit slippery on the descent after all this rain. I took it easy and walked a fair bit. I’ve lost some fitness over the last few months and it’s tough finding the motivation.
