Locations – Craig yr Allt, Taff Trail South

Distance – 14 miles

Elevation – 1271 feet

A steep rocky path with a valley in the distance.

Today’s run was a mixture of low heart rate flat sections and some hills to finish.

I headed down the Taff Trail for a steady 8 miles and then finished with a little climb up Craig yr Allt for some views.

I’m slowly adding to my mileage and trying to fit in multiple 10+ mile runs per week at a moderate pace.

Jelly Babies are my normal fuel but I’m thinking about going back to gels. I sometimes feel they’re awkward to chew and they don’t contain electrolytes.

I used to buy Science in Sport gels but they don’t seem that popular these days.
