Locations – Taff Trail, Fforest Fawr

Distance – 7 miles

Elevation – 623 feet

A large wooden sculpture of a man covered in leaves.

I had some company for the first few miles down the Taff Trail and back. We stopped to take a picture of the leaf man. (Does he have a name?)

I split off at 3 miles and went up into Fforest Fawr for a bit of elevation. I’ve been wearing the Peregrine 14s on walks to try and bed them in a bit more and I think it’s working. They felt better today.

I’ve ordered a pair of Merrell Long Sky 2s to replace the Agility Peak 5s that are falling apart. They were heavily discounted so I’m giving them a try.
