Locations – Fforest Fawr, Castell Coch
Distance – 5 miles
Elevation – 874 feet

I woke up to another clear and frosty day so got ready for my first run of the year. I’m taking it easy after a break and just enjoying being out running.
With the frost likely to go soon I wanted to get some more photos of the castle, so I headed up through Greenmeadow Woods. The view across the frozen field was beautiful as always.
After a gentle run/walk through Fforest Fawr I dropped down to the castle and made my way home.
It’s frustrating not being able to go as far as I want to but I need to be sensible. I’m getting into a routine of regular strength work and stretching that I hope will keep me fit for the rest of the year.
