    I managed to get out for gentle run over lunch. I had stiff legs after some hill reps on Sunday. This is the view from Fforest Fawr as I stopped for a breather.

    The trails are very aromatic right now. Fforest Ganol doesn’t have many bluebells but the wild garlic is intense. I was disappointed not to do the Pentyrch Hill Race last night. I always love this event but the downhill tarmac section is tough on the ol’ knees.

    I went out for a short lunchtime run to see if the bluebells were still out. Greenmeadow Wood looked amazing. I stopped to take a few photos then headed back to Castell Coch to check out the scaffolding.

    The colourful wrap has been removed from Castell Coch! I went up for a walk this morning and actually saw the removal. I grabbed this photo on my run after waiting for some visitors to move out of frame. There were lots of people enjoying picnics in the grounds.

    The work on the main path through the sculpture trail appeared to have stopped so I headed that way. The ground has been churned up from the vehicles and machinery. There are still piles of wood chip and loose branches on the verges. I presume this will be cleared up and the accessible path reinstated.…
