Locations – Fforest Fawr, Castell Coch

Distance – 3.25 miles

Elevation – 617 feet

Bluebells in the forest with a warm evening sun's glow.

This was a rare evening run that I just managed to get in before it got dark.

I saw a group of runners heading up the hill towards Castell Coch. I wondered if it was the White Rock Runners, as I know that’s where they do their hill rep sessions.

I pootled around the forest, enjoying the setting sun and the bluebells, then headed back down past the castle.

The White Rock Runners were just finishing their session so I stopped to say hello. They were looking fresh considering all the elevation they’d done!

I wanted to check how the scaffolding was doing at the castle too. A few layers have been removed on the Well Tower.
