After a punishing and muddy trek up the Garth on Wednesday, I went out for some gentle miles around the village and up into the forest. The sunlight fell beautifully on the castle to create this lovely view as I crossed the new bridge.

I haven’t been down the canal for a while so I took it easy today and did a gentle post work run by the water. It was pretty quiet today. Didn’t pass any nature photographers with their long, long lenses. There were a few other runners and lots of cute dogs.
